I’m looking for help digging around my 1810s house in middle southern Tennessee. I’m just getting into treasure hunting and metal detecting. I know I have a cistern and a dug well or spring cistern and several privy spots. Possibility of a blacksmith shop on one corner of my lot. I’m really enjoying these videos 👍🏼

I contacted Nokta but they are tight lipped on PI machine. Anyway I start saving for it unless a good deal impossible to refuse of a used Minelab PI empties the piggy-bank. They should give a timeline or are they still trying to figure out how to build one.

In other words, you have no clue on the difference between pulse induction and VLF.

I have the non pro version. I certainly find a huge amount of iron in the fields around me. I have used it on the beach and in fields. I find coins quite easily. For a beginner like me, its a nice unit.

I have an undated buffalo nickel but the buffalo side has a black substance on part of the buffalo. It might be paint. Will the peroxide-white vinegar solution take that off? What do you recommend?
